Network Consultants 

 

The qualified candidate will work with our talented Networking team to provide superior services and support to our customers.

 

 

Responsibilities include:

• Provide clients with outstanding customer support with regards to technical services

• The ideal candidate demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with the sales team, partners and end user customers at all levels

• Possess the ability to maintain and support Local and Wide Area Networks

• Provide Network Services to a wide variety of small to medium size businesses/clients

• Proactively provide technology recommendations and solutions to clients

 

Required skills and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• MCP certification is required,  MCSE certification is preferred

• Macintosh experience is a plus

• Strong hands-on technical knowledge

• Keeping up-to-date with the latest technologies, operating systems and applications

• Strong working knowledge in Windows NT4/2000/2003 and XP, both server and desktop

• E-mail and messaging systems Exchange, Outlook and Outlook Express

• Minimum of 2 plus years experience with the maintaining and supporting of various technology environments

• Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems

• Proven communication and organizational skills required

• Ability to work in a team

• Ability to carry out network installations and upgrades

• A complete understanding of data communications and concepts of network architecture

• Repair, upgrade and maintain PC based computer workstations & servers

• Support a wide variety of hardware, including: printers, routers, switches, firewalls and hubs

• Telecommunications experience is a plus

• Research and implement new technologies in Network Engineering
